Un aperitiv raw vegan care va va cuceri pe loc: branza de caju. Este atat de cremoasa, aromata si absolut grozava pe paine de casa calda, cu legume proaspete si ceapa verde… Yummmm! :)

Ingrediente:

  • 200g caju hidratat (minim 2h)
  • 1 catel de usturoi
  • sucul de la 1 lamaie
  • 2 lg ulei de masline
  • 2 lg fulgi de drojdie inactiva
  • 50-75ml apa plata (sau in functie de consistenta dorita)
  • sare dupa gust
  • 1/2 legatura de marar

Introducem in blender ingredientele lichide: apa, sucul de lamaie si uleiul de masline, apoi restul ingredientelor. Mixam bine, mai adaugam putina apa daca dorim o consistenta mai fluida si sare dupa gust.

La final impartim compozitia in 2 parti, in una incorporam mararul tocat marunt, iar pe cealalta o savuram simpla :) Pofta mare!

ENGLISH VERSION

A raw vegan appetizer that you’ll love: cashew cheese. it’s so smooth, creamy and absolutely delicious on warm homemade bread, with fresh vegetables and spring onions… Yummmm! :)

Ingredients:

  • 200 g cashew (soaked for at least 2h)
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • juice from 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp inactive yeast flakes
  • 50-75 ml water (or as to desired consistency)
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 bunch of dill

Pour the liquid ingredients in the blender: water, lemon juice and olive oil, then add the rest of the ingredients. Blend well, add a little more water if you like a more fluid consistency and salt to taste. In the end divide the mixture in 2 parts: incorporate the chopped dill in on and leave the other one plain :) Enjoy!
