Briose-low-carb-cu-vanilie

Dupa succesul brioselor fara faina, unt sau zahar, am zis ca trebuie neaparat sa repet figura. Dar eu nu pot sa gatesc aceeasi reteta de prea multe ori, pentru ca ma plictisesc :) Si uite asa s-au nascut aceste briose low-carb cu vanilie. Foarte, foarte bune, si una-doua la cafea dimineata merg la fix chiar si la dieta, va promit eu :)

Ingrediente (10 briose):

Amestecam ingredientele uscate, apoi cele umede si incorporam usor cu o spatula cele 2 amestecuri pana obtinem un aluat omogen si destul de moale. Coacem briosele cam 50 de minute la foc mediu (170 C), pana o scobitoare introdusa in centru iese curata. Din aceste cantitati ies 10 briose (sau 12 mai micute :) Pofta mare!

ENGLISH VERSION

After the major success of the flourless, butterless, sugarless muffins I thought I really should do it again. But I can’t cook the same thing too many times because I get bored :) So this is how these low-carb vanilla muffins were born. They are so, so good and one or two with your morning coffee are accepted even on a diet, I promise :)

Ingredients (10 muffins):

  • 150 g almond flour (1 cup)
  • 1/2 cup xylitol
  • 3 egg whites, beaten until stiff
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 250 g Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil (or olive oil)
  • 2 tbsp psyllium
  • 1 tsp natural vanilla powder (or seeds from 1 vanilla bean)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt

Mix all the dry ingredients, then all the wet ingredients and gently combine these 2 with a spatula until you get a nice soft dough. Bake the muffins about 50 min at medium heat (170 C), until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean. These quantities make about 10 muffins (or 12 smaller ones :) Enjoy!
