Vine weekendul si m-a lovit o pofta crunta de rontait, asa ca azi am incercat ceva nou, bun si sanatos: chipsuri de pastarnac :) N-am prajit nimic, stati linistiti, i-am facut la cuptor, ca de obicei. Super gustosi si crocanti au iesit, nu va mai trebuie prostii din comert cu E-uri si prajite in multe ulei cu o asa reteta :)

Ingrediente:

Decojim pastarnacul si il taiem felii subtiri de tot, eu am folosit o razatoare mandolina. Mozolim bine rondelele obtinute cu ulei de masline, sare si pudra de usturoi, apoi le intindem intr-un singur strat pe o tava mare in care am pus hartie de copt. Coacem chipsurile cam 10 minute, sau in functie de cuptor, pana se rumenesc putin pe margini. Daca aveti cuptor electric, sa porniti si ventilatia, vor iesi mai crocante :) Rontaiala placuta!

ENGLISH VERSION

The weekend got me in the mood for nibbling, so I prepared something new, healthy and delicious: parsnip chips :) I did’t fry anything, don’t worry, I baked them in the oven. They turned out so tasty and crunchy that you don’t need store bought junk-food chips fried in oil :)

Ingredients:

  • 3 medium parsnips
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Peel the parsnips and thinly slice them with a mandolin. Dip them in olive oil, sprinkle with salt and garlic powder and lay them on a tray lined with baking paper. Bake about 10 min or until brownish on the edges. If you have an electric oven, turn the ventilation on, it will make them more crispy :) Enjoy!
