Un mic dejun energizant si sanatos: Granola de casa :) Usor de facut, usor de pastrat in borcanase dragute in camara si usor de savurat: trebuie doar sa adaugati lapte, iaurt, fructe proaspete sau ce mai doriti. N-o sa mai cumparati niciodata musli din comert dupa ce incercati aceasta reteta :)

Ingrediente* (8-10 portii):

Tocam grosier nucile cu un cutit sau le maruntim putin pulsandu-le de cateva ori in robotul de bucatarie. Combinam intr-un bol mare fugii de ovaz, nucile, fructele uscate, semintele si fulgii de cocos. De obicei fructele uscate nu se coc, se adauga la final, insa eu le-am bagat si pe ele la cuptor de data aceasta si n-a fost rau :)

Separat amestecam siropul de artar, uleiul de cocos, vanilia, scortisoara si 2-3 linguri de apa.Turnam siropul obtinut peste mixul uscat si mozolim bine totul cu o spatula, apoi intindem compozitia pe o tava tapetata cu hartie de copt.

Coacem Granola cam 15-20 de minute la 170C, amestecand-o din cand in cand, sa se rumeneasca uniform. Lasam sa se raceasca si depozitam bunatatea in borcane in camara :)

A healthy and energizing breakfast: homemade Granola :) Easy to make, easy to store in cute jars in your pantry and easy to enjoy: all you have to do is add milk, yogurt, fresh fruit and whatever you like. You’ll never go back to store bought musli once you try this recipe :)

Ingredients* (8-10 servings):

  • 150 g oatmeal
  • 200 mixed raw nuts: almonds, hazelnuts, cashews
  • 100 g mixed seeds: sesame, flax, chia, sunflower, pine nuts
  • 25 g coconut chips
  • 120 g mixed dried fruits: cranberries, mulberries, goji, raisins
  • 4 tbsp maple syrup
  • 4 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • seeds from 1 vanilla bean/ 1 tsp vanilla extract

Roughly chop the nuts or pulse them a couple of times in the food processor. In a large bowl combine the oatmeal, chopped nuts, dried fruits, seeds and coconut chips. Usually the dried fruits are added to the Granola in the end, but I baked mine this time and the result was just as good :)

Separately whisk the maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla and cinnamon with 2-3 tablespoons of water. Pour this syrup over the dried mixture and combine really well with a spatula.

Spread everything on a tray lined with baking paper and bake for about 15-20 min at 170 C, mixing it from time to time to cook evenly. Let it all cool and store in jars.
