Poftiti la bombonele! :) Quinoa crocanta, caramel natural din curmale si aroma subtila de carob… Mai ca zici ca’s cumparate! :)) Aceste bomboane cu quinoa si caramel sunt mega delicioase si sanatoase, le puteti savura atunci cand va e pofta de ceva bun dar nu vreti sa dati iama in cofetarii :)

Ingrediente:

  • 300g unt de arahide nesarat (sau unt de alune de padure, unt de caju, unt de migdale)
  • 200g curmale moi fara samburi
  • 100g quinoa expandata
  • 4 lg carob
  • 2 lg ulei de cocos

Punem in robotul de bucatarie curmalele si procesam pana se maruntesc bine, apoi adaugam uleiul de cocos, untul de arahide si carobul. Mixam bine, adaugam 2/3 din cantitatea de quinoa si amestecam usor cu o lingura.

Introducem compozitia in congelator pentru 30 de minute, cat sa se intareasca putin. Apoi cu ajutorul unei linguri pentru inghetata formam bilute din compozitie si le tavalim prin quinoa ramasa. Se pastreaza in congelator. Pofta mare!

ENGLISH VERSION

We’ve got candy! :) Crispy quinoa, natural date caramel and subtle carob flavor… You’d almost think these are store bought sweets! :)) These quinoa caramel balls are super tasty and healthy, you can enjoy them when you crave for something sweet without having to rob the sweet shop :))

Ingredients:

  • 300 g unsalted peanut butter (or hazelnut, cashew or almond butter)
  • 200 g soft pitted dates
  • 100 g puffed quinoa
  • 4 tbsp carob
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

First process the dates in the food processor until well chopped, then add the coconut oil, peanut butter and carob. Process well, then add 2/3 of the quinoa and gently mix with a spoon.

Place the mixture in the freezer for 30 min to harden a little.Then use an ice cream scoop to form small balls and roll them in the remaining quinoa. Store in the freezer. Enjoy!
