De cateva zile ma supara rau o tuse (deh, e sezonul…), asa ca in dimineata aceasta am vrut sa imi pregatesc ceva cald si cremos. Desi nu mananc feluri dulci dimineata, acum am facut o exceptie :) Am savurat o delicioasa budinca de ovaz si maca ce m-a uns pe suflet si pe gat! :))

Ingrediente (1 portie):

  • 1/2 cana fulgi de ovaz (40g)
  • 1/2 cana apa fierbinte (125ml)
  • 1/4 cana lapte de migdale (60ml)
  • 1 lg pudra de maca
  • 1 lg indulcitor natural: sirop de artar, sirop de agave etc.
  • fructe si cacao nibs pentru servit

Punem intr-un bol fulgii de ovaz si turnam apa fierbinte peste ei, lasandu-i la inmuiat 10 minute. Apoi adaugam lapte de migdale, pudra de maca si indulcitorul si amestecam usor cu o lingura.

Daca va place mai cremoasa, mai adaugati putin lapte. Presaram fructe proaspete si cacao nibs deasupra si suntem gata sa incepem ziua :) Pofta mare!

ENGLISH VERSION

A cough has been bothering me these last few days (it’s the season), so this morning I wanted to prepare something warm and creamy. Although I don’t normally have sweet meals for breakfast, now I made an exception :) I enjoyed an oatmeal and maca pudding that was just so comforting for my soul and perfect for my throat :)

Ingredients (1 serving):

  • 1/2 cup oat flakes (40g)
  • 1/2 cup hot water (125ml)
  • 1/4 cup almond milk (60ml)
  • 1 tbsp maca powder
  • 1 tbsp natural sweetener: maple syrup, agave syrup etc.
  • fruit and cacao nibs for serving

Put the oat flakes in a bowl and pour the hot water, letting them soak for 10 min. Then add the almond milk, maca powder and sweetener and gently stir with a spoon. If you like it creamier, add more milk. Sprinkle fresh fruit on top and cacao nibs and we’re ready for a new day :) Enjoy!
