ENGLISH VERSION
When you don’t know what to cook anymore and you take a look in the fridge, great ideas come alive :)) Because I had some trout, eggs and heavy cream in the fridge, I added some pasta from the pantry and I got a super delicious dinner from 4 ingredients, ready in 40 min: 10 min prep time + 30 min the baking :) And my little food critic confirmed once more that mama’s the best cook :)
Ingredients (4 servings):
- 125 g trout file*
- 2 eggs
- 200 g stellini pasta
- 200 ml heavy cream
- a couple of dill threads (optional)
Dice the fish and check for bones. Boil the pasta according to the direction on the package, then drain them. You can use any pasta you like, I had some stellini pasta. Add the beaten eggs, heavy cream and pasta over the fish and mix well.
Grease a small pan (18*28 cm) with oil and pour the mixture inside. Bake for 25-30 min in the preheated oven at 170 C, until nicely golden. Enjoy!
*The trout can be cooked or not. For adults or +3 year old children you can use smoked trout. This recipe is a great way of using leftover cooked fish.
