Am descoperit efectiv cea mai buna reteta de lipii keto, yei! Believe me, sunt FLEXIBILE fix ca cele cu gluten, dar suuuuuper bune si oh, atat de versatile! Merg folosite la: shaorma, gyros, wrap, quesadilla (abia astept sa incerc o quesadilla low carb!), tacos, taiate tringhiuri pentru rontait cu orice sos va place. Eu le-am savurat cu Tzatziki, dar merg si cu Guacamole and so on, the sky is the limit! :) (5 buc a cate 2g net carbs si 170cal)

Ingrediente (4-5 buc):

Amestecam intr-un bol ingredientele uscate: faina de migdale, taratele de psyllium, guma xanthan (din pacate aceasta NU se poate omite, ea da elasticitate aluatului, il face flexibil. Dar se gaseste aici, e ieftina si spornica :), sarea si praful de copt.

Adaugam si apa, oul si albusul si framantam bine aluatul. Este maleabil si putin lipicios. Il impartim in 4 si, intre 2 folii alimentare, intindem fiecare biluta, dandu-i o forma rotunda-ish. Mie nu mi-a iesit, I know! :))))*

*Later edit: Iata ca am reusit sa le fac si perfect rotunde taiandu-le cu un castron :) Astfel mi-au iesit 5 bucati.

Lipiile vor iesi subtirele, insa se desprind usor de folia alimentara. Le coacem in tigaia incinsa unsa cu ulei cate 1 min pe fiecare parte. Le savuram cu ce dorim, sunt delicioase oricum, pofta mare! :)

ENGLISH VERSION

I have found the BEST keto tortilla recipe, yei! Believe me, they are just so flexible as gluten flatbread is, but super tasty and oh, so versatile! They can be used in: shaorma, gyros, wrap, quesadilla (cannot wait to try a low carb quesadilla!), tacos, cut into triangles and served with your favorite dip. I had mine with Tzatziki, but they go perfect with Guacamole and so on, the sky is the limit! :)

Ingredients (4-5 pcs):

  • 120g almond flour
  • 2 tsp xanthan gum
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp psyllium husk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg + 1 egg white
  • 1 tbsp water (15 ml)
  • 1 tbsp oil for the pan

Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl: almond flour, psyllium husk, xanthan gum (cannot be substituted, it gives the dough flexibility), salt and baking powder.

Add the water, egg and egg yolk and mix well. The dough is easy to mold and slightly sticky. Divide in 4 and, between 2 sheets of cling film, roll into a round-ish shape. Mine did not turn out so round, I know! :))))

The tortillas will be very thin, but they are easy to separate from the clingfilm. Cook in the hot pan greased with oi for 1 min on each side. Serve with whatever you like, they are super yummy! :)
