Cerealele din comert se promoveaza ca fiind mega sanatoase, pline de vitamine, cu cereale integrale ca prim ingredient. Seriously? Iar al doilea e zaharul, stiti, da? Ei bine, ce iti faci tu cu mana ta in bucataria ta e clar superior din toate punctele de vedere oricarui semipreparat din comert: gust, nutrienti, cost… Ilinca adora aceste cereale, le rontaie goale, ca pe pufuleti :)

Ingrediente (6 portii):

  • 200g fulgi de ovaz
  • 100g merisoare si stafide
  • 2 lg ulei de cocos
  • 3 lg unt de arahide natural*
  • 2 lg sirop de artar (sau miere, sirop de agave, optional)
  • 2 lg lapte vegetal
  • 1 lgt scortisoara pudra

Amestecam bine toate ingredientele cu o spatula pana obtinem o compozitie lipicioasa, pe care o repartizam pe o tava intinsa tapetata cu hartie de copt. Coacem totul 15 min in cuptorul preincalzit la 170C, iar dupa ce s-a racit o depozitam in borcane inchise ermetic.

*Cautati un unt de arahide natural, cu arahide 100% la ingrediente si de preferinta nesarat; eu il folosesc pe acesta, iar merisoare cumpar din acestea indulcite natural cu suc de mere, nu cu zahar, cum sunt majoritatea.

Cereals you see on TV promote themselves as super healthy, natural, packed with vitamins and containing wholegrain cereal as the first ingredient. Really? And you do know the second is sugar, right? Well, everything you make by yourself in your own kitchen is definitely healthier, tastier and cheaper than stuff you buy in stores… Ilinca loves these peanut butter cereals, she nibbles on them plain, just like chips :)

Ingredients (6 servings):

  • 200 g oatmeal
  • 100 g dried cranberries and raisins
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp natural peanut butter*
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup (or honey, agave syrup etc)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Mix well all the ingredients with a spatula until you get a sticky mixture, then spread it on a tray lined with baking paper. bake everything for 15 min at 170 C, then once chilled, store in an airtight jar.

*Look for a natural 100% peanuts as ingredients, preferably unsalted and apple juice sweetened cranberries, most have sugar.
