Dragi fani conopida si fani branza, in sweet harmony let’s come together, right now, oh, yeah :)) Azi avem o bunaciune de conopida cu branza la cuptor, este greu de descris in cuvinte cat de gustoasa este, cert e ca eu am mancat 2 portii and I regret nothing :))

Ingrediente (4-6 portii):

  • 1 conopida
  • 2 oua
  • 250ml smantana lichida*
  • 250ml smantana acra (fermentata)
  • 2 catei de usturoi
  • 250g mix de branzeturi (cascaval, mozzarella, cas afumat)
  • 30g unt
  • sare, piper dupa gust*
  • 1/2 lgt nucsoara

Rupem conopida buchetele si le fierbem; mama m-a invatat un truc ca sa ramana crocanta conopida: o oparim intai, adica adaugam apa fiarta, apoi o fierbem :)

Amestecam ouale, smantana acra, smantana lichida, jumatate din cantitatea de branza data pe razatoare, usturoii pisati (recomand sa fie si caliti inainte, daca doriti o aroma mai subtila de usturoi) sare, piper, nucsoara. E bine daca folositi si putina branza Cheddar, are o culoare portocalie superba :)

Ungem un vas termorezistent cu unt, adaugam buchetelele de conopida fierte si scurse, turnam mixul lichid si presaram deasupra restul de branzeturi rase. Introducem totul la cuptor 30 min la 180C, cu ventilatia pornita, pana se rumeneste frumos. Buuuuuna de tot atat calda, cat si rece! :)

Baby friendly: omiteți sarea și folosiți piper cu măsură, fiind un condiment iritant gastric. Folosiți brânzeturi mai puțin sărate și neafumate.

*Smantana lichida fara caragenan am gasit pana acum doar aceste 3 sortimente: Laptaria cu Caimac, Sanlacta, Artesana si Ken Nata (cu 35% sau 38% grasime, se cumpara doar online). Smantana fara caragenan trebuie batuta cu putina zeama de lamaie, pentru a se intari, fiind naturala. Daca ati mai descoperit vreun alt brand, dati-mi de stire :)

ENGLISH VERSION

Dear caulifower fans, dear cheese fans, in sweet harmony let’s come together, right now, oh, yeah :)) Today we’ve got an amazing comfort food, hard to describe, but I sure did have 2 portions and I regret nothing :)) Cauliflower cheese casserole.

Ingredients (4-6 servings):

  • 1 cauliflower head
  • 2 eggs
  • 250 ml heavy cream
  • 250 ml sour cream
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 250 g mixed cheese (cheese, mozzarella, smoked cheese)
  • 30 g butter
  • salt, pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg

Chop the cauliflower florets and boil them; my mom taught me this trick for the cauliflower to stay crunchy: add boiling water first over it and then boil it :)

Mix the eggs, sour cream, heavy cream, half the cheese (grated), mashed garlic (I reccomend you saute them a little first, if you want less of a garlic taste :) salt, pepper, nutmeg. It’s great if you use a little Cheddar cheese, it has a gorgeous color :)

Grease a baking dish with butter, add the boiled and drained cauliflower florets and pour the liquid mixture over them. Add the rest of the grated cheese on top and bake for about 30 min at 180 C, ventilation on, until lovely golden :) It’s super tasty both hot and cold!
