Pentru vegetarieni, gratarele cu prietenii sunt deseori o problema, pentru ca optiunile sunt destul de limitate. Insa aceste frigarui cu legume si tofu va va vor scoate din incurcatura, pentru ca sunt tare gustoase. Sosul dulce-picant e un deliciu si poate fi folosit si la sandvisuri, cartofi copti, tortilla chips… :) Sa faceti portie dubla de frigarui, cu siguranta vor atenta la ele si carnivorii convinsi! :))
Frigarui:
- 300g tofu
- 1 dovlecel mic
- 4 cepe rosii
- 300g rosii cherry
- 300g ciuperci champignon
Sos picant:
- 4 rosii mari
- 1 mar verde acrisor
- 1 ceapa
- 3 catei de usturoi
- 100 ml suc de rosii
- 4 lg zahar brun melasa
- 1 lg otet balsamic
- 1/2 lgt piper cayenne
- 1/4 lgt chili
- 1/2 lgt sare
- 1 frunza de dafin
- 1 lgt faina din samburi de roscove (optional, pentru ingrosare)
Spalam bine legumele, feliem dovlecelul, taiem ceapa in 4 si scoatem coditele ciupercutelor. Pe rosii le lasam in pace :)) Taiem cubulete bucata de tofu si ne apucam sa asamblam frigaruile, pe care le rumenim pe gratarul bine incins.
Pentru sos, tocam rosiile, marul, ceapa si usturoiul, le punem intr-o cratita pe foc, alaturi de restul ingredientelor (mai putin faina din samburi de roscove), amestecam bine si lasam sa fiarba pana se inmoaie putin, dar nu de tot.
Apoi scoatem frunza de dafin, pasam totul cu un blender vertical, adaugam faina din samburi de roscove si amestecam sosul cu un tel pana se ingroasa putin. Stropim frigaruile fierbinti cu acest sos, iar ce ne ramane din el pastram intr-un borcanel in frigider :) Pofta mare!
ENGLISH VERSION
For vegetarians, barbecues are sometimes a problem because of their limited options. But these tofu, vegetables skewers will save you, because they are very tasty. The sweet&spicy sauce is delicious and it can also be used on sandwiches, with tortilla chips, baked potatoes… :) Make a double portion of skewers, because the carnivores will definitely want some, too! :))
Skewers:
- 300 g tofu
- 1 small zucchini
- 4 red onions
- 300 g cherry tomatoes
- 300 g champignon mushrooms
Spicy sauce:
- 4 large tomatoes
- 1 green apple
- 1 onion
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 100 ml tomato juice
- 4 tbsp brown unrefined sugar
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp carob seed flour (optional, for thickening)
Wash the vegetables, slice the zucchini, cut the onions in 4 and remove the stems from the mushrooms. Leave the tomatoes alone :)) Cut the tofu into cubes, start to assemble the skewers, then roast them on the hot grill.
For the sauce, chop the tomatoes, apple and onion, put them in a pot along with the rest of the ingredients and boil all a little until softened, but not too much. Then remove the bay leaf, puree everything with a vertical blender, add the carob seed flour and stir until it thickens a little. Sprinkle the sauce over the hot skewers and store what’s left of it in a jar in the fridge :) Enjoy!
