Semintele de chia sunt un super aliment, contin mult calciu, antioxidanti, fier, fibre, Omega-3, proteine, acid folic si potasiu. Super, nu? In general le folosesc la dulciuri si budinci, insa azi am preparat cu ele o alternativa de post a icrelor: icre de chia. Pentru un mic dejun gustos si sanatos :)
Ingrediente:
- 75g seminte de chia
- 100ml apa plata
- sucul de la 1/2 lamaie
- 3 lg ulei de masline
- 1/2 ceapa rosie
- sare dupa gust
Punem intr-un bol semintele de chia, turnam apa si zeama de lamaie peste ele. Amestecam timp de 2-3 minute, pana semintele se umfla si absorb lichidul. Adaugam uleiul de masline, ceapa tocata marunt si sare dupa gust. Pofta mare! *Reteta inspirata de aici

Chia seeds are a super food, they contain lots of calcium, antioxidants, iron, fiber, Omega-3, protein, folic acid and potassium. Pretty cool, right? I generally use them in sweets and puddings, but today I prepared a savory spread: fish roe from chia seeds. For a healthy and delicious breakfast :)
Ingredients:
- 75 g chia seeds
- 100 ml water
- juice from 1/2 lemon
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 red onion
- salt to taste
Place the chia seeds in a bowl, pour the water and lemon juice over them. Mix for 2-3 min, until the seeds will absorb the fluid and expand. Add the olive oil, finely chopped onion and salt to taste. Enjoy!
