Ingrediente (6 portii):

  • 350g carne de vita (manzat)
  • 1 ceapa
  • 1 morcov
  • 1 pastarnac
  • 1 tija telina Apio
  • 700ml suc de rosii
  • 2 catei de usturoi
  • 1/2 lgt cimbru
  • 1/2 lgt  oregano
  • 1/2 lgt boia dulce
  • 250g paste fusilli
  • 100g branza Emmentaler
  • sare, piper*

ENGLISH VERSION

When I run out of ideas of what to cook, pasta is always a good solution because everybody like them, they are easy to make and very filling. So this dish is something your family just can’t not love: beef pasta bake :) They’re amazing served warm, with the melted cheese topping and chopped parsley on top… :)

Ingredients (6 servings):

  • 350 g beef (veal)
  • 1 onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 parasnip
  • 1 celery stick
  • 700 ml tomato juice
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp sweet paprika
  • 250 g fussilli pasta
  • 100 g cheese Emmentaler

Boil the meat until very tender (it’s important that it’s very well cooked and tender for kids). Boil the pasta al dente according to the instructions on the package and finely chop the veggies. I like to use the blender for a very fine chopping.

Saute the onion and garlic in 2 tablespoons of water until translucent, then add the carrot, parsnip, celery, tomato juice and spices. Let it simmer for 10 min, then combine all the ingredients: pasta, diced meat and sauce. Put everything in a heat proof pan, add the cheese on top and bake for 30 min at 170 C. Enjoy!
