Depozitati crema in borcane de sticla, in frigider. Pofta mare!

ENGLISH VERSION
I love preparing autumn goodies: quince jam, plum jam, apple pie, roasted pumpkin, apple, beetroot and ginger juice… I feel that these lovely autumn goodies make this colder season more pleasant :) And because I’ve never roasted chestnuts and I love chestnut puree, I made it myself :)
Ingredients:
- 700 g chestnuts (550 g peeled)
- 4-5 tbsp maple syrup (or favorite sweetener, to taste)
- 400 ml water
- 1 vanilla bean
- 1 tbsp rum essence
Cut the chestnuts around, then place them on a tray lined with baking paper. Bake them for about 20-30 min at 170 C, until their shells start to bloom. Let them chill a little, then remove their shells and place them in the food processor, along with the rest of the ingredients.
You can adjust how thick or sweet you want the puree, by adding more or less water/sweetener. Store in a glass jar, in the fridge. Enjoy!
