Pentru ca aveam niste ananas proaspat pe care Ilinca nu a vrut sa il manance, am zis sa il folosesc cumva si sa incerc ceva exotic: pui cu ananas la cuptor :) Nu prea ma dau in vant dupa combinatiile de carne cu fructe, mai degraba prefer legume in prajituri, insa am zis sa fac ceva wild, sa imi depasesc limitele, gen…. :))) Pui cu ananas la cuptor, suculent si usor dulceag, mmmmmmm, chiar bun :)
Ingrediente (4 portii):
- 600g piept de pui
- 1/2 de ananas mediu*
- 150ml ketchup fara zahar (preferatul meu e acesta)
- 75ml otet din cidru de mere
- 50ml sos de soia
- 3 lg indulcitor brun
- 1 bucatica de 3 cm ghimbir
- 2 catei de usturoi
- 1 ardei gras
- 2 cepe verzi
- 1 ceapa
- sare, piper

Mod de preparare
Facem amestecul pentru marinata din ketchup, indulcitor, sosul de soia* (sau sos tamari pt varianta fara gluten), otet, ghimbir ras fin, usturoiul pisat, puutina sare si putin piper. Mozolim bine carnea de pui taiata cubulete si o tinem in frigider timp de 2 ore, amestecand putin la jumatatea timpului.
Asezam carnea de pui intr-o tava, turnam restul de sos, adaugam cubulete de ananas*, ardeiul tocat, ceapa, ceapa verde si coacem totul cam 40-50 min la 180C, pana puiul e fraged si suculent, cu ventilatia pornita in ultimele minute, pentru a se rumeni frumos.
*Puteti folosi si ananas la conserva, acesta de exemplu NU are zahar adaugat, contine doar ananas si suc de ananas :) Noi cumparam frecvent, pentru ca ai mei sunt fani ananas la conserva si o varianta fara zahar e binevenita.
Eu am servit puiul cu ceapa verde, mi-a placut combinatia dulce si crocanta :) Merge foarte bine cu orez, dar si cu o salata verde. Pofta mare!

I had some fresh pineapple Ilinca didn’t want to eat so I thought I’d make something special out of it, I tried a rather exotic dish: baked chicken pineapple :) Now, I am not a big fan of fruit in savory dishes, I prefer veggie sin desserts, but this baked pineapple chicken is juicy and sweet, kinda delicious :) Check out the Carnivore style website for more cool and exciting information about this type of diet! Ingredients (4 servings):
- 600g chicken breast
- 1/2 medium pineapple
- 150 ml sugar free ketchup
- 75 ml apple cider vinegar
- 50 ml soy sauce
- 3 tbsp brown sweetener
- 1 piece of ginger, 3 cm thick
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 bell pepper
- 2 spring onions
- 1 onion
- salt, pepper
Make the marinade from the ketchup, sweetener, soy sauce, vinegar, grated ginger, mashed garlic cloves, a little salt and pepper. Evenly coat the chopped chicken meat in this marinade and place them in the fridge for 2 hours, giving them a sir halfway.
Place the chicken meat in a baking dish, pour the leftover marinade over them, add the chopped pineapple, bell pepper, onion and spring onions and bake everything for about 40-50 min at 180 C, ventilation on in the last mins, until lovely golden brown.
I served my baked pineapple chicken with spring onions, I like the sweet crunchy combination :) Rice or lettuce salad are also great side dishes for this. Enjoy!
