Nemaipomenite! ;-)
Ingrediente
- 250g faina integrala de secara
- 65g mix de seminte rasnite: chimen (am pus mai mult pentru ca imi place mult aroma), mac, susan, floarea soarelui, in (puteti folosi ce seminte va plac mai mult, in proportia dorita)
- 4 lg ulei vegetal
Pofta mare!
ENGLISH VERSION
I wanted to nibble on something crunchy and relatively healthy, so I made up these diet crackers, but I never thought they’d be a great hit :) They simply vanished from the bowl and everyone asked for the recipe. Extra crunchy, with that wonderful caraway flavor, slightly spicy… Great! ;-)
Ingredients
- 250 g whole rye flour
- 65 g mixed ground seeds: caraway (I put more because I like the flavor), poppy, sesame, sunflower, flax (what combination you like, in the desired proportion)
- 4 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 tbsp of salt (I used Himalayan salt with paprika and chili, but you can also use regular salt and add paprika, if you want them spicy)
- 200 ml water
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- sesame and paprika salt for sprinkling on top
Combine all the ingredients and mix them into a dough on floured surface. Roll it and cut the desired shapes (I cut squares). I made them thin because the thinner they are, the crunchier they get :)
Place the crackers on a baking paper lined tray, grease them with a little oil, then sprinkle sesame and salt over them. Bake them at medium heat for 10-15 min (depending on the oven), until they start to brown a little on the edges. Enjoy the nibbling :)
