Una din marile provocari ale dietei fara gluten este inlocuirea gustarilor crocante clasice (covrigei, toortitzi etc) cu ceva similar ca gust si textura. Astfel s-au nascut aceste saratele fara gluten absolut delicioase si fragede, cu aroma inconfundabila de chimen pe care eu una o ador. A se consuma cu masura… NOT! :))))
Ingrediente
- 1/2 cana faina de orez (75g)
- 1/2 cana faina de mei (70g)
- 1 cana faina fara gluten (140g)
- 50g mix de seminte (rasnite): chimen, mac, susan, in etc.
- 1/3 cana ulei de masline (80ml)
- 2 oua
- 2 lgt sare de Himalaya + extra pentru presarat deasupra
- 2 lgt praf de copt
Amestecam bine toate ingredientele si framantam aluatul pe o suprafata pudrata cu faina. Atentie, este putin faramicios si trebuie manevrat cu grija. Il rulam cu facaletul si decupam saratele mai mult sau mai putin egale :)
Presaram sare deasupra si le coacem la cuptorul incins la 170 de grade pentru maxim 15 minute, sau pana se rumenesc pe margini. Durata coacerii difera in functie de cuptor (mai ales ca al meu e electric), asa ca e bine sa fiti cu ochii pe ele :) Rontaiala placuta!

One of the great challenges of a gluten-free diet is replacing the things to nibble on with something that has similar taste and texture. This is how these great crackers were born, they’re so crunchy and tender and have that lovely caraway flavor I am so crazy about. Eat in moderation… or NOT! :))))
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rice flour (75g)
- 1/2 cup millet flour (70g)
- 1 cup gluten-free flour (140g)
- 50 g (ground) mixed seeds: caraway, poppy, sesame, flax seed etc.
- 1/3 cup olive oil (80ml)
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp Himalaya&paprika salt + extra for sprinkling on top
- 2 tsp baking powder
Gently combine all the ingredients and batter the dough on a floured surface. Cut the crackers into desired shapes, sprinkle a little salt on top and bake them in the preheated oven at 170 C for 15 min, or until their margins turn brownish.
The baking period depends on the oven (especially that mine is electric), so you’d better keep an eye on them :) Enjoy the nibbling!
