A venit vara si ce poate fi mai racoritor decat o felie mare si rece de pepene rosu? Mmmmm, fix asta e cina mea preferata in anotimpul calduros, iar ieri am cumparat un pepene din piata care s-a dovedit a fi extrem de dulce si gustos, spre fericirea mea :) Am pregatit un super smoothie racoritorrrr: smoothie de pepene rosu.

Ingrediente (2 portii):

  • 2 felii de pepene rosu
  • o cana de capsuni 140g
  • 2 piersici
  • cateva cuburi de gheata
  • 3-4 frunzulite de menta (optional)

Taiem cubulete feliile de pepene, inlaturam coaja si samburii si punem cubuletele in blender alaturi de capsuni si de piersucile fara samburi. Adaugam gheata, menta si mixam bine. Turnam in pahare frumoase, ne indulcim si ne racorim :) Mie imi plac mult borcanasele cu pai, sunt numa bune de luat la pachet in parc. Enjoy summer!

ENGLISH VERSION

Summer’s here and what ca be more refreshing than a large cold slice of watermelon? This is actually my favorite dinner during summertime and yesterday I bought a super delicious watermelon from the farmer’s market :) I made a super cooling smoothie: watermelon smoothie.

Ingredients (2 servings):

  • 2 slices of watermelon
  • 1 cup of strawberries 140g
  • 2 peaches
  • a couple of ice cubes
  • 3-4 mint leaves (optional)

Chop the melon, remove the pits and peel and put the cubes in the blender along with the strawberries and chopped peaches. Add the ice, mint and blend well. Pour into nice jars and enjoy the sweet refreshment :)
