Aceasta supa crema de mazare poate constitui cu succes o cina usoara, dar si consistenta, in acelasi timp, deoarece contine valoroase proteine vegetale. Se face foarte usor si e excelenta servita cu o lingura de smantana deasupra. Iar combinatia de mazare cu menta e perfecta :)
Ingrediente:
- 500g mazare
- 2 cepe mici
- 3 tije de telina Apio
- 1 dovlecel zucchini
- 1 lg ulei de masline
- cateva frunze de menta
- sare, piper
Tocam ceapa, telina si dovlecelul si le punem intr-o oala cu apa cat sa le acopere. Fierbem totul la foc mediu pana mazarea e fiarta. Adaugam cateva frunze de menta si pasam supa cu blenderul vertical, dupa care o asezonam cu ulei de masline, sare si piper.
Daca dorim (si dorim :), adaugam o lingura de smantana sau iaurt deasupra inainte de servire si picuram putin ulei de masline. Pofta mare!
*Baby-friendly: folositi foarte putina sare doar dupa varsta de 1 an, iar piper cu masura, fiind un condiment puternic si iritant gastric.
ENGLISH VERSION
This creamy pea soup is perfect for a light but filling dinner, because it contains precious vegetable protein. It’s so easy to make and excellent with a large spoon of sour cream on top :) And the mint pea combination is a winner :)
Ingredients:
- 500 g peas
- 2 small onions
- 3 celery sticks
- 1 courgette
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- a few mint leaves
- salt & pepper (I used cayenne pepper for the nutritional benefits)
Chop the onion, celery and courgette and place them along with the peas in a pot with enough water to cover them. Boil everything until the peas are cooked, then add the mint leaves and blend everything using a hand blender.
Season with olive oil, salt and pepper. If you want (and I know you do :), add one big tablespoon of sour cream before serving and a drizzle of olive oil. Enjoy!
