Majoritatea cerealelor pentru copii sunt pline de ingrediente dubioase, multe ca numar si cu toate acestea sunt promovate ca fiind super sanatoase si pline de vitamine. Seriously? Nu se compara cu pernutele mele cu cereale, sunt mega delicioase si, valabil pentru orice mancare facuta in casa, stii ce pui in ele domne! :) Iar Ilincai i-au placut mult de tot :)

Ingrediente (4 portii):

Amestecam bine toate ingredientele pana se formeaza un aluat omogen. Il transferam pe o suprafata pudrata cu faina si il framantam bine, dandu-i forma unei bile.

Intindem aluatul si, folosind un cutit sau o rola pentru pizza, decupam patratele, le asezam pe o tava intinsa tapetata cu hartie de copt si le intepam cu furculita. Le puteti face mai groase sau mai subtiri, in functie de preferinte si ajustand corespunzator timpul de coacere, ale mele au avut cam 5mm grosime.

Presaram scortisoara deasupra, apoi coacem pernutele in cuptorul preincalzit la 170C timp de aprox 10 min. Le servim cu lapte, iaurt, fructe sau chiar goale :) Pofta mare!

ENGLISH VERSION 

Most children breakfast cereals are filled with many unknown ingredients and are promoted as super healthy and packed with vitamins. Seriously? They don’t even compare to my homemade cinnamon cereals, they’re so delicious and you know exactly what they contain :)

Ingredients (4 servings):

  • 250 g whole purpose flour
  • 70 g coconut sugar
  • 125 g butter
  • 2 tbsp full fat yogurt
  • 1 free range eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (+extra for the topping)

Mix all of the ingredients well until a ball of dough forms. Transfer the dough on a floured surface and knead well, then roll the dough into a 5 mm thick sheet. Cut out small squares, transfer them on a tray lined with baking paper, poke them with a fork and sprinkle cinnamon on top.

Bake the cereals for 10 min in the preheated oven at 170 C. You can make them thicker or thinner, adjusting the baking time. Serve with milk, yogurt fruit or just nibble on them plain :) Enjoy!
