ENGLISH VERSION

We took a trip in the mountains this weekend and we got some fresh cheese, mmmmmm… :) And we ate some delicious Romanian cheese donuts, so I made a baby friendly version for Teo, too :) I used cake pops molds, they look just so lovely! And served them with sugar free preserve and sour cream.

Ingredients (20 mini pcs):

  • 250 g sweet fresh cheese (or ricotta)
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 tbsp semolina (50 g)
  • sour cream and sugar free preserve for serving

Punt the cheese (you can use fat cottage cheese, too, or ricotta), semolina and eggs in a bowl, mix well with a fork. You can use a little vanilla powder or lemon zest if you want :) Or honey, is making them for toddlers, just keep in mind honey is forbidden for babies under 1 year old because of botulism risk.

Make small balls and put them in a cake pop mold, then just bake them for about 30 min at 170 C, until lovely golden and crispy on the surface. I turned the ventilation on in the last 10 min. Enjoy!
