Pofta de dulce te impinge la combinatii inedite, mai ales cand nu vrei sa dai iama in cofetarii :) Am incropit rapid acest desert super simplu si m-am felicitat singura: cartoful dulce se imbina perfect cu dulceata laptelui de cocos si cu merisoarele acrisoare… Iar aroma de scortisoara da nota de gratie :)

Ingrediente (2 portii):

Curatam cartoful dulce, il taiem cubulete mici si il punem la fiert la aburi. Eu folosesc sita de la Ikea, mi se pare mai practica si ocupa mult mai putin loc fata de un steamer. Cand cubuletele de cartof sunt moi si fragede, le impartim in 2 cupe transparente frumoase, adaugam merisoarele, turnam laptele de cocos deasupra si pudram totul cu putina scortisoara. Absolut perfect, nu mi s-a parut ca e nevoie de indulcitor :) Pofta mare!

ENGLISH VERSION 

Sugar craving can lead to interesting combinations, especially if you don’t wanna hit the candy shop :)) I prepared this quick dessert and congratulated myself for the idea: the sweet potato perfectly combines with the sweetness of the coconut milk and sour cranberries… And the cinnamon flavor gives the final touch :)

Ingredients (2 servings):

  • 1 medium sweet potato
  • 200 ml full fat coconut milk
  • 50 g dried cranberries
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • natural sweetener: maple syrup, agave syrup etc (optional)

Peel the sweet potato, chop and steam it until soft and tender. I like to use the Ikea steamer insert. Place the potato cubes in 2 nice transparent cups, add the cranberries, pour the coconut milk on top and powder everything with a little cinnamon. Absolutely perfect, I thought there was no need of a sweetener :) Enjoy!
