Rulouri pizza.

Aluat:

  • 400g faina alba
  • 1 pliculet de drojdie (10g)
  • 200ml apa calduta
  • 4 lg ulei de masline extravirgin
  • 1 lgt sare

Topping:

  • 4 lg ketchup fara zahar (gasiti aici)
  • masline, porumb, ciuperci, rosii uscate, capere
  • cascaval, tofu

Pofta mare!

ENGLISH VERSION

We were super craving pizza and we thought we’d make it with a twist by adapting the classic recipe and making it as a roll, kinda like cinnamon roll, but in savory version :) These pizza rolls are so tasty and easy to grab on the go, enjoy :)

Dough:

  • 400 g flour
  • 1 sachet of yeast (10g)
  • 200 ml luke warm water
  • 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt

Topping:

  • 4 tbsp ketchup
  • Olives, corn, mushrooms, dried tomatoes, capers
  • cheese, Tofu
  • ham , bacon, salami, cooked chicken
  • topping: Parmesan or mozzarella

Combine the yeast, warm water with 2 tbsp of flour, mix and let it sit for 15 min until bubbly :) Knead using your hands pr a stand mixer, adding the rest of the flour, salt and olive oil until you get a smooth elastic dough.

Roll the dough into a rectangle, spread the tomato sauce over it and add ANY desired toppings :) I used sliced cheese, olives, canned mushrooms (well drained), ham and dried tomatoes. You can use tofu and veggies to make it vegan or just skip the meat and make it vegetarian.

Tightly roll into a cylinder and slice into about 11-12 slices. Place them on a tray and bake for about 30 min at 180 C, until lovely golden and crips. Enjoy!
