Am gasit aceasta reteta pe Pinterest si eram tare curioasa cum ar fi combinatia, iar expresia sotului cand a auzit de biscuiti sarati cu mustar a fost priceless! :)) Cu toate acestea mie mi-au placut foarte mult, au un gust de saratele si am pus pe cativa niste salata de vinete, mega deliciu, trust me :D

Ingrediente (20 de buc):

  • 100g unt
  • 200g faina + extra pt framantat
  • 1 ou
  • 50g mustar frantuzesc boabe
  • 3 lg apa rece
  • 1 galbenus pentru uns
  • 1 lgt sare pentru topping

Amestecam foarte bine toate ingredientele, pana reziulta o bila de aluat pe care o transferam pe o suprafata pudrata cu faina. Framantam putin pana obtinem o compozitie omogena, apoi intindem cu sucitorul o foaie groasa de aprox 5mm. Pudrati si planseta si sucitorul cu faina din belsug, aluatul e lipicios.

Decupam formele dorite, le transferam pe o tava tapetata cu hartie de copt, ungem biscuitii cu unt si presaram putina sare deasupra. Ii coacem 15-17 min la 180, pana se rumenesc frumos. Rontaiala placuta! :)

ENGLISH VERSION 

I found this recipe on Pinterest si and I was super curious about this combination, you should have seen the look on my husband’s face when he heard I was making mustard crackers, priceless! :)) In spite of that, I really like how they turned out, they taste like cheese crackers and I dipped a few in eggplant spread, yum!

Ingredients (20 pcs):

  • 100 g butter
  • 200 g flour + extra for kneading
  • 1 egg
  • 50 g french mustard
  • 3 tbsp cold water
  • 1 egg yolk for greasing
  • 1 tsp salt for the topping

Mix well all the ingredients until a ball of dough forms, transfer it on a surface dusted with flour. Knead a little until smooth, then roll into a 5 mm tick sheet. Powder the surface and rolling pin with plenty of flour. the dough is sticky.

Cut out the desired shapes, place them on a tray lined with baking paper, grease them with egg yolk and  sprinkle salt on them. Bake for 15-17 min at 180 C, until  they turn beautiful and golden. Enjoy the nibbling!
