Am testat multe retete de paine si chifle keto / low carb, insa aceasta e de departe cea mai PUFOASA si mai similara cu painea alba :) Chifle pufoase cu psyllium. Niste unt, dulceata fara zahar si o cafea aromata, iata un mic dejun ge-ni-al!

Ingrediente (6 chifle):

Amestecam intr-un bol faina de migdale, taratele de psyllium, praful de copt, sarea. Adaugam otetul, albusurile si amestecam usor cu o spatula.

Adaugam apa fierbinte si mixam cu mixerul cam 30 de sec, pana compozitia devine elastica, similara plastilinei. Modelam 6 bilute, le presaram cu susan si le coacem la 180C timp de aprox 50 de min pana se rumenesc bine de tot. Le feliem dupa ce s-au racit. Pofta mare! :)

ENGLISH VERSION

I’ve been trying a lot of keto / low carb bread recipes and this one is BY FAR the fluffiest one and most similar to white flour bread :) Fluffy psyllium buns. Some butter, sugar free preserve and a hot cup of coffee, now that’s a brilliant breakfast! :)

Ingredients (6 buns):

  • 150 g almond flour
  • 40 g psyllium husk
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 egg whites
  • 225 ml hot water
  • 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • sesame seeds for the topping

Combine the almond flour, psyllium, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Add the vinegar, egg whites and mix everything gently with a spatula.

Add the hot water and mix everything well with a mix for about 30 sec, until elastic and similar to play dough. Form 6 balls, sprinkle sesame on them and bake them at 180 C for about 50 min, until really golden brown and crisp. Slice only after they’ve cooled. Enjoy! :)
