O prajitura senzationala umeda si insiropata cu care veti avea mare succes si datorita careia veti realiza ca malaiul nu e bun doar la mamaliga :)) Prajitura cu malai si portocale. Siropul aromat face toti banii, nu il omiteti! :)

Ingrediente (8 portii):

Mixam untul la temperatura camerei cu pudra de Green Sugar pana obtinem un amestec pufos, apoi adaugam ouale, unul cate unul, mixand bine dupa fiecare. Separat combinam malaiul, migdalele macinate, coaja de portocala, praful de copt. Incorporam cu o spatula amestecul uscat in cel umed, punem compozitia rezultata intr-o tava rotunda (diametru 22 cm) cu fund detasabil unsa cu unt si tapetata cu hartie de copt. Coacem prajitura la 180C aprox 40-50 de min sau pana trece testul scobitorii.

Pentru sirop punem pe foc intr-o craticioara sucul de portocala proaspat stors, 2 lingurite de Green Sugar si condimentele. Aducem amestecul aproape de punctul de fierbere, apoi il lasam 10 minute la infuzat. Dupa ce prajitura s-a racit o intepam cu o scobitoare, turnam siropul strecurat peste ea si o decoram cu fistic crud tocat :) Enjoy!

ENGLISH VERSION 

An amazing moist cake that will be a hit among your guests and it will make you realize cornmeal is good for not only polenta :)) Polenta orange cake. The spicy syrup is really important, don’t skip it! :)

Ingredients (8 servings):

  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g stevia based sweetener
  • zest of 2 large oranges
  • 100 g cornmeal
  • 200 g ground almonds
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Syrup: juice from 2 oranges
  • 1 star anise, 1 cinnamon stick, 2 cloves, 1 cardamon pod
  • 2 tsp stevia based sweetener
  • 50 g raw pistachio (for the topping)

Beat the butter and sweetener until fluffy, then add the eggs, one by one, mixing well after each one. Separately, combine the cornmeal, ground almonds, orange zest and baking powder. Combine the 2 mixture and place the dough in a spring form pan (22 cm diameter), greased with butter and lined with baking paper. Bake the cake at 180 C for about 40-50 min until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.

For the syrup put the orange juice, sweetener and spices in a saucepan, bring to a boil and let it all infuse for 10 min. After the cake has cooled, poke it with a skewer and pour the strained syrup all over it. Decorate with chopped pistachio and enjoy :)
