Ingrediente (2-3 portii):
- 2 catei de usturoi
- 1 conserva de rosii* (400g)
- 1 conserva de fasole boabe (400g)
- 300g Halloumi
- 2 lg ulei de masline
- 1/2 lgt oregano uscat
- sare, piper
Punem intr-un vas micut termorezistent conserva de rosii, (daca folositi rosii proaspete, taiati-le cubulete si pastrati 1-2 rosii pentru pasat in blender), adaugati cateii de usturoi pisati, fasolea bine scursa.
Feliem branza Halloumi si asezam feliile deasupra, presarand sare, piper, oregano. Picuram ulei de masline deasupra si coacem totul la 180C timp de 30 min, cu ventilatia pornita in ultimele minute pana branza Halloumi arata frumos, un piiic rumenita :) Pofta mare!

ENGLISH VERSION
A super quick and easy dish with a taste of summer and Greece :) bean Halloumi bake. You can use fresh tomatoes, of course, I had to „get rid” of a can of tomatoes :)) Instead of beans you can use lentils or your favorite legumes. This dish is super yummy served with Tzatziki sauce, Kalamata olives and pita to dip in the sauce, mmmm… Also, I think you should check out these Halloumi fries, they are sensational! :)
Ingredients (2-3 servings):
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 can of tomatoes* (400g)
- 1 can of beans (400g)
- 300g Halloumi cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp dry oregano
- salt, pepper
Put the canned tomatoes in a small baking dish (if you use fresh tomatoes chop them and save 1-2 tomatoes to blend and use as sauce), add the mashed garlic and well drained beans.
Slice the Halloumi and arrange the slices on top, add salt, pepper, oregano. Drizzle a little olive oil and bake for 30 min at 180C, with the ventilation on in the last minutes, until the Halloumi is as brownish as you like it :) Enjoy!
