ENGLISH VERSION

Since super hot summer weather is here again, I thought I’d let my pressure cooker do the cooking for me without having heat and sauna in my kitchen :) I made a classic dish that always works like a charm with my husband and girl, they never refuse it: pressure cooker chicken with green beans. It was ALL ready in 30 min and I got the supreme compliment from Ilinca: „Mom, it’s even better than the one from kindergarten! :)))))

Ingredients:

  • 400 g chicken thighs
  • 500 g green beans
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 3 small carrots
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 250 ml tomato juice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dried veggie mix

Chop the onion cut the chicken meat into medium chunks, turn on the multicooker and set it on Brown/Saute, High pressure, 20 min. Add the oil and saute the onion and chicken.

Ad the sliced carrots (I had extra, because Ilinca loves them), chopped garlic, tomato juice (+about 50-100 ml water), salt, spice mix. Stop the previous program, put the lid on, move the valve to Closed position and set on Poultry, High Pressure for 15 min.

Once the time’s up, carefully flip the valve on Open position with a spatula (I put a kitchen cloth over the lid, so that the steam and juice do not spread around), add the green beans and let it cook 5 more min on Brown/Saute, High pressure, lid off, until the beans are tender. Enjoy!
