Delicioase calde! :)

*Baby friendly: omiteti zaharul, folositi 1 lingurita de miere (+1an).

ENGLISH VERSION

The nasty weather outside becomes better when the kitchen is taken over by the wonderful smell of fresh homemade bread :) Here’s my recipe, I like to make fresh buns because they seem more practical and easier to eat :) And I had to ave a bread recipe on my blog, right? :D

Ingredients (8 buns):

  • 400 g whole purpose white flour
  • 100 g wholewheat flour
  • 300 ml lukewarm water
  • 10 g yeast (1 sachet)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp salt

Mix the warm water, sugar, yeast and 3 tablespoons of flour in a bowl. Stir well and let it sit for 15 min, until bubbly :) Start kneading (manually or with a stand mixer) and adding the flour, little by little. When reached halfway the quantity of flour, add the salt and olive oil. We’ll keep kneading until the dough is smooth and elastic (12-15 min by hand, 7-8 min with a stand mixer).

Place the dough in a bowl greased with a little olive oil, wrap it in clingfilm and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, until it doubles it’s size. Mold 8 buns, place them on a tray lined with baking paper. Cross them over with a knife, sprinkle some wholewheat flour on them and cover them with clingfilm again. Let them rise 10 more min. Bake for 30-35 min at 180 C. They’re amazing!  :)
