Multi dintre cei care tin dietele keto sau low carb se confrunta cu aceeasi problema la aceste tipuri de paine: sunt UMEDE. Asa ca eu procedez in 2 feluri: 1. prajesc de vreo 2 ori feliile de paine in prajitorul de paine. 2. fac crutoane :) Sunt foarte usor de facut si merg super bine la supe crema, cum ar fi aceasta de ciuperci sau aceasta de sparanghel :)

Ingrediente:

  • felii de paine keto/low carb
  • ulei de masline (in pulverizator)
  • sare, piper
  • condimente: pudra de usturoi, boia, cimbru etc

Retete de paine keto aveti aici (pe care am si folosit-o la aceste crutoane), aici sau aici. Taiem felii subtirele painea pe care o folosim, apoi fasii lunguiete.

Intindem pe tava tapetata cu hartie de copt bucatelele de paine, le pulverizam cu ulei de masline si presaram: sare, putin piper si ce condimente doriti: pudra de usturoi, boia, cimbru maruntit, chimen etc.

Introducem tava in cuptorul preincalzit si coacem totul timp de aprox 10 min, cu ventilatia pornita, ochiometric pana se rumenesc frumos crutoanele.

Eventual puteti scutura putin tava dupa 5 min, sa se rumeneasca uniform. Eu le-am copt mai maricele, apoi le-am taiat cubulete :) Pofta mare!

ENGLISH VERSION

A lot of people on keto or low carb diets have the same problems with keto breads: they are MOIST. So I will show you what I do, I have 2 tricks: 1. I toaste them twice in the toaster and 2. I make croutons :) They are so easy to make and go perfectly with cream soups, like this asparagus soup or this mushroom soup :)

Ingredients:

  • keto/low carb bread slices
  • olive oil (spray)
  • salt, pepper
  • spices: garlic powder, paprika, thyme etc

For keto breads you have recipes here (this is the one I used for these croutons), here or here. Thinly slice the bread, then cut into strips.

Lay them strips on the large tray lined with baking paper, spray olive oil over them then sprinkle: salt, a little pepper and desired spices: garlic powder, paprika, thyme, caraway etc.

Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for about 10 min, with the ventilation on, until crisp enough. You can eventually give the tray a shake after 5 min, to brown evenyl. I baked mine larger, then cut them into cubes. Enjoy!
